A Data Driven Story: How Data Buddies Came to Be

Data Buddies was launched as a response to the growing complexity of managing data.

The company was founded by two colleagues, Brent and Dave, who had  a successful track record of working together developing data management and analytics solutions in the fast-moving consumer packaged goods industry. It was through this experience they discovered the universal struggle that organizations face: how can companies harness the power of data.

In an era where every company is tasked with using data to make better business decisions, they understood that many challenges exist including data silos, integrating first-party and third-party data, integrating  data from acquisitions, and a plethora of new, diverse data sources to name just a few.  

The founders recognized that data, being the backbone of analytics, posed a significant challenge for organizations of all sizes and industries. So they set about building a company that would make it far easier for organizations - regardless of the industry - to cleanse, harmonize, and integrate data - making it usable to support analytics for real time decision making.
